Miracle or Murder?
Jennie Brice was a mediocre young actress, but on a dank and dangerous night with floodwaters rising she managed a remark-able disappearing act. Her husband suspected happily that she'd left him; but her landlady's suspicions had a darker cast.
The police had all the evidence of foul play--blood stains, a knife, Jennie's own fur coat --but Jennie herself was missing.
