"Robert Louis Stevenson was a 19th century Scottish essayist, poet, novelist, and travel writer. His most famous works are Kidnapped, Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and Treasure Island. Stevenson was writing Weir of Hermiston at the time of his death. Although unfinished, it is regarded by many as his masterpiece. Set in Edinburgh, the story centers on the relationship between young Archie Weir and his father Lord Hermiston, known as a ""hanging judge."" Archie kills a man and is tried by his father."
