MacAllister was a very stubborn man, and so he ignored the Skeelie Woman when she warned him not to defy the shadowy creatures called “the Good People.” Then off he went to court his beautiful Peigi-Ann -- never dreaming that this would give “the Good People” their chance to use a strong and ancient magic in a terrible revenge against him.
