Frank Tolliver is gathering men -- hired guns -- and positioning himself to take control of those mountains. The mountains produce gold, gold that must travel over Juniper Pass on its way to the safety of a Las Vegas bank. And whoever gets in Tolliver's way, whether they're innocent townsfolk or Jake and Paleto, meet with a bad end. But unlike the townsfolk, Jake and Paleto will not bend to Tolliver's will. They will outsmart, outshoot, and outride the gunslingers if that's what it takes to liberate the mountains and honor the memory of their fallen brother.
