Shooting Stars — Murray Pura

The chase takes Milwaukee and Michal out of the American South and into the west: Oklahoma, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada. The romance grows as warm as the Mojave Desert that surrounds Las Vegas and a surprise reunion only adds to the sense of joy and blessing. But blue skies by day and beautiful shooting stars by night cannot disguise where the road and their commitment to one another and God is taking them - deeper and deeper into a heart of darkness and the valley of the shadow of death.
