On account of his huge size and even bigger appetite, his horrified parents left him to fend for himself but when he tries to make friends with the other mice they run away in terror. The two must overcome many obstacles including Martha's mum, a rodent hater whose diabolical plans must be foiled before the tale draws to its happy conclusion. This charming and touching story is written for 2-5 year olds and is lavishly illustrated in quirky detail.
