A collaboration. Four Cops: two American, two British. Who must work together to catch a killer.

Superintendent Bradley has lumbered DI Joe Rafferty and Sergeant Dafyd Llewellyn with a Transatlantic caper involving a dangerous American murderer who's escaped to Britain with a couple of American cops on his tail. They have received a tip-off that he's holed-up in Essex. Specifically, in Rafferty's manor of Elmhurst. They don't get off to a good start, especially when Rafferty puts his foot in his mouth.

Rafferty can't imagine why an American killer would come all the way to Elmhurst, but he's prepared to put his doubts aside to aid the Cross-Pond relationship. But then he learns that one of his relatives might be in danger from the killer, and he must find all his resolve to push through to find a resolution.
