Murder by the Lake — Nicholas Rhea

Whilst taking a stroll around the shores of Ullswater, Ross MacAllister found a drowned hiker. As any citizen would do, Ross called the police. Then the police came back because the man hadn't drowned - he'd been shot. Ross had become their prime suspect but through lack of firm evidence they released him. Then, on the lonely mountain of Borrowdale, Ross found a hiker who was the dead man's double. The police thought he'd imagined it - but they became even more interested in Ross's movements. So Ross had to trace that hiker. His quest developed into a manhunt across the most beautiful countryside in England.
