Lydia Barnes and the Mystery of the Broken Cross — Heather Gemmen Wilson

In book two of the Global Warning Series, Lydia finds herself in Jerusalem for Christmas. However, she doesn't experience peace during this holiday season. The ongoing war between the Israelis and the Palestinians that she had been bored by in the news back home becomes real as bombs explode all around her, even killing innocent children. The war becomes more personal as Lydia discovers how much the Jewish leaders hate Christians. Lydia just wants to go home and have a normal Christmas, but not until she discovers who has been stealing the Bibles from the mission center.
