Leedy Collins is a restaurant manager who has a dream of one day opening her own restaurant. The only thing missing is the bank loan. Terry Foster, a handsome loan officer, is the most exciting man Leedy has ever met. They both feel the electricity upon their first meeting, but when he declines her loan application - sparks fly. Leedy is furious.

Obviously, this is an odious man who delights in destroying her dream.

Terry feels for Leedy but it is his job to protect the bank from high risks. He is all too familiar with saving young women; he has raised his orphaned niece and feels compelled to save Leedy.
