Divorced, her children grown, Kate Duncan is delighted to be back home in Branson, Missouri, the sleepy little town in the Ozarks that has suddenly become the country music capital of the world. Footloose and free now, she loves her job as entertainment columnist for the local newspaper. Interviewing the stars, wining and dining them at the finest restaurants seems more like fun than work... especially when her childhood idol, country superstar Tommy Eagle, hits town for a long-awaited comeback.
