Butterfield's Hate — S.D. Gripton

A fourth crime adventure for Dave Lewis and Mariska Masekova. Butterfield is an ex-cop who Dave helped get dismissed from the force, and when Butterfield tells his mother this, she drops in a dead faint. Butterfield's heart beats with hate for Dave after that, and as he falls into madness, talking to his dead mother, who he is keeping in a large fridge, he puts together six psychopathic teenagers and trains them as acrobat clowns. They are then let loose on the City to murder and torture as they will. Their final target is Dave and Mariska, and the girls who live in the house, Sophie, Linda, Analaise and Victoria. Dave and Mariska are almost helpless in the ferocity of the clowns' attacks, and in the last exciting act, only help from Dave's ghosts help.
