A wedding to die for
When her best friend gets married in Hawaii, budding anthropologist Dinah Pelerin discovers there's peril in paradise. Dinah is captivated by the myths and legends of the island, but nervous about the ceremony being so close to the edge of an active volcano. Adding to her trepidation, the groom, a retired volcanologist, is gambling on a controversial land development deal. He's got the locals up in arms and has, apparently, displeased the gods.
Protests over the planned desecration of sacred burial grounds has unleashed more than seismic rumblings from the deities and menacing human threats. Soon there's a murder and everybody is a suspect, including Dinah. Following a trail of blackmail, secrets and risky business as hot and deadly as lava, Dinah walks a thin line between getting burned…and getting killed.
