When she graduated from college, Nina Thomas had her whole life ahead of her. She planned to hang out for the summer, you know, have some fun -- okay, have a lot of fun -- then she'd get serious about getting a job in September. All that changed when she was reunited with her high school sweetheart, Lorenzo Copeland. While Nina was away, he came up in the game and introduces her to the good life; cars, clothes, expensive jewelry and plenty of money. Nina's life is turned upside down when Lorenzo gets locked up and she is left to go for herself. Now she's waiting on the grand jury to decide if Nina has to stand trial for murder.
