Angela Evans hasn't been in a relationship since the death or her late husband. As she is reluctantly developing a new relationship with billionaire Connor Shea, the news broadcasts fill with reports of a growing number of local murders. When Angela realizes the link between the murders is her, Connor pledges to help her find the killer. With the memories of three years ago flooding her mind she becomes more and more obsessed with doing whatever she can to stop the killings. Angela uses her power and position to obtain information she shouldn't have, but by sharing the ill-gotten facts with police detectives Davidson and Williams, they confirm that not only are the local murders related but so too are a string of murders across the country. They soon realize that Angela is also on the assassins hit list, but when Angela goes missing Connor ignores police warnings as he steps up his own search for Angela and to stop the killer before she joins the growing number of victims.
