From Civilized to Barbaric — Pete Thorsen

When the electric power goes out and does not come back on it causes unimaginable problems in the United States. Lee Rosen is living in New York City and has a hard time believing the drastic changes he sees all around him caused from just the simple lack of electricity. He had never thought about the ramifications that a prolonged power outage would cause and just how dependent we all were on having that power come on with just the flip of a switch. He soon has no food and no water and just sees chaos everywhere he looks. This story follows this young man as he comes to grips with the new environment where he now finds himself; a violent and chaotic world where only he is responsible for his own well being.
