Description
Hercules is a feisty young terrier devoted to his Mistress and afraid of nothing. His phenomenal nose-computer means he is employed by both the U.K. and U.S. governments to sniff out anything nasty. A loyal second-in-command of an extraordinary pack, his language and morals are derived from watching too many late-night films on T.V. especially his heroes such as the mighty John Wayne, Robin Hood and the handsome Count of Monte Christo. Book 1 shows him defending his lovely mistress, terrorising cat and double glazing salesmen, rescuing an idiot from the ice (with pack leader, the handsome Bruce), defeating an inept pair of burglars (with the terrifying R.D.) and facing the terrors of The Vet. Don't worry; as a dog of few words and swift action (via John Wayne) Hercules is triumphant and ready to meet the new challenges of Book 2.
