Florencia Bonelli Furey was born on 5 May 1971 in Cordoba, Argentina, the daughter of Roberto Bonelli, a civil engineer, and Mary Ellen Furey Ussher, teacher of English, she has Italian and Spanish descent. He has a sister one year younger, Carolina, and a brother three years younger, Lucas, with whom she raised in Cordoba and a shack built by his father in Villa Carlos Paz. Since she learned to appreciate books thanks to his father who first read stories, and then by his uncle who enjoyed super- sales. At 17, having to make the decision to go to college, she rejected the idea of studying Philosophy, despite her passion for literature, because it does not appeal to her the idea of teaching. She finally decided to study economics at the Catholic University of Cordoba. There, she met Miguel Angel Gallo, a college five years older, who was an accountant and was studying business administration. A couple of years later got engaged. In 1994 , only ten days after graduation got a job in Buenos Aires Public Accountant, where she continued working for the next five years.
In 1997, she read the novel "The Arab" Edith Hull , which marked her deeply. Her boyfriend encouraged her to write her own romance novel, which materialized in the first manuscript of "Lo que dicen tus ojos". On 6 December 1997, Florencia and Miguel married. Two months later she quit her job, which allowed him to accompany her husband wherever he earmarked for their work and write full time. While in Europe, the couple lived in Genoa (Italy), Brussels (Belgium) and London (England). In 1999, he managed to publish his first novel "Bodas de odio" , and in 2003, " Marlene " was published since then has continued to publish his novels. His work has not only sold in Argentina where it is a real phenomenon, but it has also been published in Spain and throughout Spanish- America, has also been translated to Portugal, Germany and USA. In 2004, the marriage returned to Argentina , where she continues to reside in Buenos Aires.
