This story is of the coming of age variety, specifically a father / son relationship and the methods a man will employ to initiate his boy to the ways of the world and flesh not taught in classrooms.Baseball, horse racing and most importantly pool are part of this bonding / teaching tale. There are eccentric characters, theology and a mystery surrounding an auto's voltage regulator.
