Wings of the Doves — Sheila Lewis

Pilot Alan Ingram achieves his dream when he launches an air charter service on the small Scottish island of Heronsay. He meets opposition from his wife Susan and son Daniel, both reluctant to leave their studies in Glasgow. Daughters Clare, a medical student, and Jessica, on a gap year in Australia, are supportive but have problems of their own. Each member of the family is faced with adversity and doubts about the future, plus the puzzle of a long-lost relative.
