Windigo — Steven Jenkins

A savage spirit stalks the fringe of Battle, Minnesota. The primordial incarnation of death and starvation haunts the inhabitants, stealing lives and imparting an incurable disease that leaves men freezing with the blood of their families staining their teeth and the flesh of their ancestry churning in their bellies. Too many dark secrets are buried in the small, logging town. Past indiscretions practiced by the burg's aging and self-serving patriarchs prohibit anyone from saving themselves and the inhabitants of the town from the horrifying curse.
