Evan Landrews was a convicted murderer. That he had been framed made very little difference to the men who hunted him. Barr Kingan, his best friend, had doublecrossed Landrews and so had to see him dead to feel safe, and then there was Blaisdell the soulless killer, out for the bounty. No one believed Landrews had a chance - except Landrews himself.
