I don't even remember why I can't stand that bouncer named Dash, but natives in this south side neighborhood of Newcastle never do. They simply hand down their family's grudges from one generation to the next. OK, I admit I'm part of the problem. I may enjoy watching Dash walk away from an argument again and again, and maybe I should stop showing up at his bar to provoke him. But he sure is cute when he's angry.Harper needs to stay away from the Crow Bar if she knows what's good for her. Not only is her family sworn enemies of mine, but she's also in danger. But does she listen? No. I don't know how many ways I need to spell it out for her, but if she keeps coming in here with that wicked grin, a body built for trouble and a wit that makes it tough to maintain my composure, she's going to attract all the wrong kind of attention. And I'm the least of her problems.
