When The Lights Dim — Afflatus Muse

Strife and Dawn have lived separate lives, the street being the only thing they share in common. This changes, however, when Strife comes across the young girl living in her cardboard box. He has a heart, so he offers to take her back to his apartment, which is at least a bit warmer than staying out in the snow. She finally agrees, and they make their way back. Once they get there, however, Strife is in for a surprise. The humans have always been discriminated against in Quiidnivask, while magical beings are praised. So when a girl who looks human demonstrates magical abilities, well... Everything gets a bit more complicated for the people who used to call themselves street rats.
