When Angels Fall — Frank Buchan

As winter drags on in Alcester's East End, crime boss Jimi Lee reaches out to his friend Detective Andrew Mackenzie to pass along information about a body found just outside the northern limit of Alcester's jurisdiction. At the same time, Detective Timothy Hudson extends help southward to a young detective with a murdered floater on her mind. When the cases coalesce, the whole team finds itself unraveling a tangled web of lies, crimes and sorrow.
