There has been no romance in Helen Pattison's life for some time, and feeling she is in a rut she decides to change her job. With the help of her vivacious Aunt Chloe, Helen opens a secretarial agency and also starts a club for lonely people. Helen finds many obstacles to overcome in her new venture and she has a great deal of heart-searching to do before her Wheel of Love finally comes to full circle.
