Reading is fun, well at least enjoyable. The writer hopes to enhance the readers scope to learn and then benefit from that learning. Part of the desire to engage with the reader is to trigger their imagination. Writing comedy is in my humble opinion one of the greatest opportunities to bring about this desire. To laugh is to enjoy and this series of 5 classic comedy stories for children and young adults is a fine example. The stories are ridiculous, the characters are real enough to believe but are outrageous. The comedy is classic in the terms of slapstick and innuendo and just funny. There are no boundaries to good comedy. However, these particular stories are written for children and young adults therefore they are safe to read by the elderly without causing too much embarrassment.
