He was also a prolific writer in many other genres, including contemporary novels, history, politics and social commentary. Together with Jules Verne, Wells has been referred to as "The Father of Science Fiction". "War and the Future" (aka Italy, France and Britain at War) (1917)" This is a non-fiction work in which the author speaks on his opinions of the times as they were as relates to World War I.
