Voodoo Bones — Melanie Atkins

Noel Galliano has always wanted her own business, so despite critics -- mainly her own family members -- who believe she won't succeed, she opens a tiny voodoo shops in New Orleans' famous French Quarter. Then Noel finds the mutilated corpse above her voodoo shop and throws Matt's competence as an investigator into question. Even cops he thought were his friends turn their backs on him. Yet despite all of the adversity, Matt joins forces with Noel, and together they solve this terrifying crime.
