Unfinished Business — Larry Strauss

A Los Angeles teacher is gunned down in his classroom and FBI agent Tony Russell, once a student at the same school, is sent undercover to find the gang member suspects. He is found out and stomped into the Crips, who give him a copy of the teacher's journal, naming the real killers; the very people responsible for the lack of books and supplies in the Los Angeles schools.
