Petite, red-haired Abby Kane is perfectly satisfied with her life in Abilene, Texas. She relishes her work at the tourist bureau, lives close to her family, and enjoys an active social life.

But Abby is caught in a stampede of emotions when Abilene is selected as the location for an upcoming movie. Called into assist screenwriter Rob Vincent, she is soon captivated by both the process of making movies and the man himself.

When a series of "accidents" delays filming, Rob and Abby are drawn closer to discover who is behind the sabotage, and the possibility of their own happy ending. Abby knows her next lines should be about her faith but she is relucant to speak them.
