Interview with the Author

Q - So, what makes the Unbreakable Series different from other teen romance books?
A - When I decided to write a young adult romance series, I wanted the two characters to face some real struggles people deal with in order for the story to be more gripping. Devon has to grow up fast and that includes becoming the man of the house in the absence of his dad, and Erin has her own challenges to deal with after her dad left her mom when she was still young. They both face the emotional and financial toll of losing a parent, which makes their emotional bond even stronger.
Q -What authors inspire you?
H.M. Ward, Bella Andre, Liliana Hart have written romance novels that inspire me, from young adult romance to suspense romance. I like that the romantic heroes in their stories faced struggles that they had to overcome, and were not handed everything on a silver platter. This makes them real men in my book (laughs). Each of these authors has also offered tons of support to other indie authors with advice on how to be successful, which I really admire.
For my billionaire series I'm inspired by J.S. Scott, and for dark romance I really like Cassie Cross, Hannah Ford, and Aubrey Dark. These are more authors that give unselfishly to the indie community, providing tips on how to be successful. One author even did the covers for the Unbreakable Series just to help me out in her spare time which I am sure is about none. I mean, how giving is that?
Q - So, why should readers give these books a try?
A - Because these books really offer passionate romance mixed with some mystery, suspense, and even a take no prisoners romantic thriller! Undeniably His hit the bestseller list on Amazon for Romantic Suspense and New Adult Romance which I was very happy about, and Unbreakable reached the sports romance bestseller list. All of these books carry a sense of romance and passion with some twists and turns and even some mayhem along the way that ultimately tests the strength of the relationship.
