MURDER STRIKES A FALSE NOTE
Trouble has dogged Sir Emlyn Rhys ever since he became guest conductor of the Wagstaffe Symphony Orchestra. He sends an SOS to his son the Mountie, and Detective Inspector Madoc Rhys arrives just in time to witness the unlovely death of the principal French horn player. But the tour must go on -- and so off they go in a borrowed plane that crashes, leaving the Rhyses and the musicians stranded in a ghost town.
