Trondelaine Castle — April Kihlstrom

When Wendy Pratt accidentally hurts her ankle while touring Trondelaine Castle, Lord Richard Pellen forces her to remain there. The handsome earl says he wants to make sure her ankle heals properly. But he secretly suspects Wendy of twisting her foot deliberately in order to trick him somehow.

Lord Richard is not quite sure what form her trickery will take. But he's positive she's either a cheap schemer, out to sue him for damages, a journalist, out for a hot story, a husband hunter, out to marry him, or even a thief, "casing" his castle for a future robbery.

And the haughty young aristocrat is determined to give Wendy a very difficult time!
