Then his men were up with him, whooping and roaring in like devils.
He saw Halliwell wield a tomahawk and sink its blade into the skull of a black-moustached soldier. Joachim smashed his cutlass down and withdrew the reeking blade. Ferris was spitting mad, driving the panicky soldiers back, their bayonets clanking and clanging against the boarding pike.
