Danni Paige was shocked when her family received Jay North's eviction notice. After years of struggle they'd finally built up a successful business. Danni couldn't just stand by and let Jay ruin everything they'd worked for.

He seemed to harbor a grudge against her family. But if anyone had cause for resentment, Danni did -- after all, Jay's father had somehow acquired her mother's opals.

Jay then issued an ultimatum: either Danni wrote the script for his wildlife documentary or he'd force the Paige's off his land. But she wasn't sure she'd be able to cope with traveling in the outback with him. Despite their physical attraction, she didn't trust him, and he'd certainly made clear his opinion of her!
