Gulliver Crow wouldn't call himself a nice guy anymore. He was now a mercenary, specializing in the retrieval of long-lost artifacts and almost-forgotten treasures. Crow didn't want to admit it, but he had changed a lot over the past few years, as he and his faithful partner, Boris Palenik, saw and did things that were the stuff of true adventure, and for all that time, Crow had prided himself on his ability to claim the prize, no matter the danger. But this assignment was to be different. Much different. Crow is given the task of retrieving a sacred necklace, a necklace once having belonged to Lagadin, the last ruler of a mysterious elf kingdom centuries ago. Legend tells that this artifact, when brought into contact with the blood of an elf king, shall become a terrible weapon that can decimate the entire world. Crow's anxious employer wants the necklace to help rescue his family's ruined reputation, and Crow agrees only for a hefty price. He shouldn't have taken the job. There are sinister forces out to get the necklace for their own nefarious purposes, and before he even knows what is happening, Crow finds himself caught up in a dangerous quest to find the long-lost tomb of Lagadin, and in the course of the adventure will be forced to confront what he has become, and what he must now do to save the world…
