There's a fire-breathing dragon deep in the Grendel Forest, in reality a coal mine that has burned for decades. Nearby lies the town of Faridale, Fairy's Dale, if you listen to the stories told by children. And within Faridale lives an ogre named Ollie, Oleg Gaylord, and his father, Boris Gaylord.
A European crime lord named Malgot hijacked a Russian shipment of plutonium destined for the commercial power generation markets. An American spy and native Russian named Olivia returned the favor. She then escaped with Boris, Malgot's personal bodyguard, Boris, settling in the small town of Faridale and birthing their one child, Ollie.
Malgot returns from time to time in an attempt to either reclaim his lost treasure or to silence those who can implicate him in the crime of the century. Ollie thinks his father an alcoholic and a loser, but when three henchman of Malgot's come gunning for Boris, Boris defends himself with the guile of a viper, and many of the skills Ollie has been taught by his father prove to have been in preparation for this time of trouble.
Ollie is forced into an escalating battle for survival, accompanied by Holly, the love of his life, and Boner, would-be gang banger. Hit and run combat hones their survival skills, and intensifies both the emotional bonds and conflicts of their mutual interdependency. For Ollie and Boner, all is for the love of Holly.
The battle in the Grendel Forest and the streets of Faridale is on. Game pieces are in place. Watch how they move.
