When Casey Carpenter relocates to Albuquerque, she is certain she can land a job on The Sandia Sun. After all, she's a good reporter and has an excellent recommendation. What she isn't prepared for is being assigned to the sports department!

Her first task is to interview and investigate Dave Phenix, who coaches Sandia State University's basketball team. Insisting that Dave is too good to be true, Casey's editor demands that she dig up some dirt on the popular coach.
