Someone wanted would-be politician Malcolm Dale dead, and managed to achieve this aim without leaving much in the way of clues, forensics, or witnesses. Here, then is a case for Detective Inspector Hillary Greene. But she has barely started before another case blows up, leaving her out of the loop and with too much time on her hands.
