In Book Four of the series, Heather Hearts, Mac, Anja, Gitte, and Deedee return to Belfast after their hopes for success in America were crushed by Malcolm Forsythe. It is here that it all began so it seems fitting that from here they will launch a new attempt at a career in the world of Rock and Roll. The only trouble is that their life is no longer in the realm of reality. It is true...all the hocus and pocus Anja hinted at but Mac refused to believe. In this volume we will learn who Malcolm Forsythe really is and why he has such a hate for Mac. For that matter, we will find out who Anja really is and the mystery behind her witchcraft. There is also a surprise concerning Gitte. Not even she was aware of the important part she has to play in this story. Deedee will of course handle things in her own unique style. She is about to become a mother and though uncertain how motherhood will fit in with being a drummer in a rock and roll band she has set ideas on how it should go down Mac just wants to have a career in music. He loves the thrill of the stage and a thousand screaming fans. This may be his last chance at fame...if not the fortune that goes with it. Peter and Liam are going to do the best they can for their friends, not to mention their number one bread earners. There are two major concerns. One is that each young woman wants Mac to themselves and in their own special way and setting. How is one man going to provide for the loves in his life and not go mad More importantly, how is Malcolm Forsythe and his accomplice Donna Watson going to affect their efforts at a "normal" life.
