Some people might call this a love story. I don't know if I'd agree. It is a story about love. My love. It's a story about life. My life. But it's not one of those, he saw the girl, he got the girl, he fell in love with the girl. It's not a story I'd tell my grandkids. At least, I don't think I would. How to explain that I once had a love that was so great, so beautiful, so picture perfect? How to explain that there are things, thoughts, ideas, voices inside of me that sometimes drive me crazy? How to explain that though there are moments of self-doubt that are so powerful that it can turn everything in your life upside down? I had a love once. A great love. She was the ying to my yang. The She could finish my sentences and I could read her mind. It was the most romantic of loves. The deepest of loves. She was my soul mate. And I, I was hers.
