The Thomas Edison Elementary School-Wide Spelling Bee is coming up. Fifth grader Abby wonders what it feels like to win a blue ribbon in spelling. There's only one problem -- she thinks she's the worst speller in Mrs. Bellamy's classroom. When she makes friends with a new student named Cee Cee, Abby learns that part of winning is about believing special help will come if she asks for it. Will Abby have the faith to believe that sometimes the last can be first -- or at least trust that she can come close to it?
