Curtain's up!
When orphans Sorrel, Mark, and Holly are sent to live with their grandmother, the renowned actress Margaret Shaw, she enrolls them in the Children's Academy of Dancing and Stage Training. Sorrel objects. The academy will provide only theatrical training -- not the "proper education" their parents would have wanted. But their grandmother is determined to have them carry on what she calls the family tradition.
Eventually, though, the children learn to like -- even love -- the academy. Sorrel discovers she's got real dramatic flair, and Mark literally finds his voice as a singer. Meanwhile, Holly charms everyone with her adorable, impish ways. Might it be true that talent does run in the family after all?
