Angie, the beautiful schoolteacher and daughter of Senator Redge Moore, has become involved for the first time in her father's re-election campaign, a campaign that has problems more personal at times than political. While volunteering at campaign headquarters, she meets Josh Eddington, another volunteer who happens to walk in off the street. As they “run into” each other and spend more time together, Angie's political focus gets more and more blurred.
One thing that has always bothered her about political races was the vicious, often personal ads -- like the ones her father's opponent is running in newspapers. When she discovers that Josh may have had a hand in them and was “spying” for the other campaign, she feels hurt and betrayed. Once bitten, Angie is not shy about her feelings and gives Josh more obstacles than he can handle. Can these two resist the winds of change and survive the turbulent political waters? Will they weather the storm and move forward into a love that will last forever?
