Some years back, a gang held up a bank in Kansas and then had shot their way past Jim Taylor, special agent for Wells Fargo. In the fracas Jim had lost an eye and his wife had been killed. From that moment the man with the black patch had lost interest in the orderly processes of the law and had only one aim: to avenge himself on the killers who had removed all meaning from his life.
