The town of Etharon is a boring and old town; nothing special at all. Kip Walker was ridiculed by the other children of his town. They dubbed him Kip the Crazy, and Kip the Stupid Freak. Now, why was that so? Apparently, at the age of nine, he had ventured into the misty forest of Etharon, and came face to face with a monstrous hound. But of course, that is the least of his concerns. He hears voices in his head, voices that rattle his brain, voices that tell him things. His mother had died of a heart attack, and his father left him. Nothing but sullen darkness and loneliness encompasses him. One day, the town mayor wishes him a Happy Birthday, on his nineteenth birthday; a beautiful girl kisses him, and hope begins to well up inside of him. But then he witnesses a grisly murder, in the home of an old man, and grim events begin to unfold. Kip Walker is then plunged into the depths of demons, and must escape to save himself. As he escapes his town's destruction, he meets an oracle, in a hut, that sends him on a hunt for a vile, wicked demon. All the while, troubling, peculiar messages seem to pound at the realms of his mind, especially a very specific one: (Wash the wall of deception clean; reveal the Truth).
