The Truth Betold — Wayne Saunders

Tom Gregory discovers a bundle of old love letters while he's cleaning the attic, after his mother dies. He thought he knew who is real father was but the letters he just found say otherwise. The letters and the passport application he finds starts him down the path of seeking out his real father. The only hitch is that he has to travel to England to do it. His recent graduation from law school, offers him the opportunity to leave on his quest. A chance to discover a part of his past that he thought he knew. He leaves for the bustling community of Colchester, in the south of England, where his mother's cousin lives. With the help of some the townspeople, he begins making progress in his quest; a quest that involves the most powerful man in the small community. Besides the search for his father, he meets an antique store owner, whose blonde hair and blue eyes divert some of his attention while he's in town. His search for information about his father uncovers the deaths of several local girls in the small town. He now has two mysteries to solve; his father's identity and the identity of the serial killer.
