This is the story of Marley Willow. A young man who decided to eschew the values of American society and join the hippy movement in the 1970's, to travel the world alone. This book is based on his actual adventures in Turkey, Afghanistan, India, and finally where he took up residence in Kathmandu, Nepal. Of his travels as an overland bus driver and adventurer, exploring the darkest corners of the Asian Continent. The story of young a man in his early twenties, traveling some 12,000 miles to lands that up till then he had only read about. This book takes us to places that can no longer be visited, no longer exist or have been changed by the influences of war. There was a small window in time that permitted such travels. At a time when International borders were unclear, laws were lax, and one could survive in ways that are today neither acceptable nor possible. For Marley Willow, it was an opportunity to seek the unknown and unexplained in the farthest corners of Asia.
