When Cassie inherits her Great-aunt Harriet's large, old country house in Cornwall, she is determined to live in it despite the fact that it badly needs renovating. Cassie already has a boyfriend, but when she meets Mick Hegarty, a talented folk musician, she is very attracted to him - even more so when he and his fellow band members move in with her as lodgers.
